It lagged alot. Idk if it was me or them. Imma see tonight. The online competition ridiculous though. They real good.

Well apparently most of the netcode issues were fixed so it should be fine. It sucks that it's region-locked online but PS4 can bypass that with shareplay

Yeah it's fixed now. I played today about 10 times.

From a tester:
Unstoppable:
- Whatever meter Jason has is converted into HEALTH upon death at the end of 'round' (DARK Phoenix RISES).
- Gains access to temporary HEALING buff.
- Gains access to temporary DAMAGE buff.

Slasher:
- Gains access to classic MACHETE weapon. Yes, it can be thrown. Hits mid, decent speed.
- Gains access to unique Slasher specific Kombos.
- Gains access to temporary ARMOR buff. When ARMOR is up Jason can NOT jump, & when it runs out he's stunned briefly & can be hit.

Relentless:
- Gains access to TELEPORT. It's very punishable if read. EX version is SAFE!

He is pretty slow it seems, but he has a lot of armored moves to makeup for his slowness it seems. Try him out because he should be out for Kombat pack owners now

I believe they will spam his invincibility thing to make him inmune to projectiles or simple mix-ups.

He is slow as ****, but I bet casuals will love him for brute force.

Well zoning is actually really effective in MK if you can do it right (for some characters) so that won't be that bad.

I assume that how the character is gonna be. Slow, but a powerhouse. I have a feeling though that he'll be underwhelming just from his speed alone.

Edit: I'm hearing Jason variant "Slasher" has monster damage and range but has no run or dash

I don't really see him getting beaten by good Zoners like Kung Jin, Jacqui, or Jax even with his armor, just because he's slow, large and Slasher has no run/dash. I'll check out your vid when I get home

This is what I fear the most. They will SPAM his immunity to not get hit by projectiles or simple mix-ups.

It's good he can't run or dash, makes him an easy target for fast characters like Kitana, Kung Lao, Mileena.

And some characters excel at zoning. Jacqui, Jax and Kung Jin may be able to beat Jason easily and Zoning is a very effective tactic in MK...to the point it's cheesy as hell
